It can be smaller in size compared to using the Faststone Image Resizer. I did an experiment using both and the N95 gave me a smaller size compared to the one from FastStone. Both images are the same and resized to 800x600 dpi.

Notes on Resizing
The N95 has a small editing program which can help you to resize your photos on your phone.
